So you have been scrolling through Instagram (you better be following me there ๐ @the_southern_couture) and you keep seeing all these gorgeous Bibles with tons of art, stickers, painting, and so much more. You are immediately hooked but don’t have a clue where to get started. I have the answer for you, and you are going to love it.
Your answers are all solved with this Workbook Guide to Bible Journaling by Shanna Noel and Friends. We are talking about pages and pages full of information starting from what Bible journaling really is to techniques to get you started.
If you have been Bible journaling for a while, you will find new techniques in this workbook to inspire new ideas for you too. You will be creating pages that you never even thought of before or even thought were possible. I know I hit road blocks all the time and are looking for inspiration any where I can.
The whole look and feel of this workbook is set up just as an artist is compiling different ideas and inspiration with different clippings and notes. I am just in love because it makes it such a simple read as well. You don’t have that feeling of being overwhelmed with pages and pages to read.
Below is a video where I flip-through the book and show you all the beautiful artistic touches as well as the nitty gritty details so you can get started too.
Whether you are a beginner or have been Bible journaling for years, I know we can all agree that there is always something more to learn. This workbook is going to do just that. I have techniques personally discussed in the book that I really would like to improve on.
And here’s the really fun part… If you are one of first group of people to purchase the book, you will also receive a free Illustrated Faith Pen Pack!! I love these pens and use them for journaling in my Bible or just taking notes.

So let’s get a game plan here…
I like to know exactly what I am going to do when it comes to starting a new book or project. I know I have heard some of you say too that you are nervous and scared to break open a new Bible or maybe even this workbook now too. I thought it would be fun to have a simple checklist to help guide you on this journey as you work through the book.
1. Sit and read through the book at your own pace.ย
Grab your favorite cup of coffee or tea and just enjoy this workbook. Don’t jump ahead thinking about what technique you can do or worrying that you won’t be able to do it. Trust me. I’ve said these things to myself too so I understand completely where you are coming from.
As you read through the book, use some paper tabs to mark pages that really stand out to you that you can come back to later and look at more closely. There may even be some lessons that you skim over more quickly and that’s okay too.
2. Pick your favorite lesson to dive into deeper.ย
Now that you have read through the workbook, pick the lesson that is your most favorite. Use that lesson as a starting point and put your focus and attention there.
3. Grab your Bible or journal and enjoy creating!
After all this workbook is about spending more time in the Word and learning fun techniques and ideas to create beautiful entries at the same time. It is so easy to read through the book and then never even try out a few fun ideas because you are afraid you will mess up. Let’s change that today! Grab a scrap piece of paper to practice on if you would like to first and then create an entry in your Bible.
Once you have created your first entry inspired by this book, you can go to another lesson and just keep the fun going! Let’s get into the Word and stay there! Who is grabbing the workbook? Let me know in the comments below. God bless!
