I’m showing you today how I’m using a planner and Illustrated Faith devotional kit to track goals this year and see what God’s word has to say about goals.ย

There is always so much talk about a fresh start in the new year with many people setting New Year’s resolutions. I find that I never keep resolutions because sometimes its just hard to quit something cold turkey or just make a habit start overnight. With goals though, you can set smaller steps to help you obtain that goal. Then it doesn’t seem so daunting. That’s exactly why I was so excited when Illustrated Faith released their first devotional kit for the year entitled “#Goals.”
When it comes to setting goals and making a plan, I obviously have to use my planner in order to keep track of everything realistically. If you are a planner girl like myself then this kit is perfect for you. Plus I’m using the Illustrated Faith 18-month planner from Dayspring as well so the colors and designs all match perfectly.
Below is what you will get in the kit. Then I can’t wait to show you how I’m going to use mine in February so you can join me too once you get yours.
8 Devotional Cards:
- Session 1 – #Wisdom Goals
- Session 2 – #Hope Goals
- Session 3 – #Faith Goals
- Session 4 – #Prayer Goals
- Session 5 – #Kindness Goals
- Session 6 – #Peace Goals
- Session 7 – #Home Goals
- Session 8 – #Health Goals
Supplies:
- 1 clear stamp collection
- 1 roll washi tape
- 1 thank you card from Shanna
- 2 sheets translucent stickers
- 6 tip-ins
- 8 devotional cards
- 1 plastic holder
My planner has a decorative page before each monthly view page. I used supplies from the kit to decorate that page. I plan to use this faith tip-in card to write a prayer of my faith that I want to focus on more this month.
For my weekly view calendar, I’m using 2 devotional cards per week since there are 8 total. I used tab stickers to insert the cards into the spiral ring. That way I can still flip them and see the days of the week. Add a few stickers and washi tape from the supply for extra decoration or color.
Each devotional card has questions and scripture which makes it perfect to use half of the page of each weekly view to journal those thoughts. You can add your goals and how to reach them on each day as well.
Let me know if you are going through this devotional kit and any ideas you have that would help for all of us to obtains those goals in this new year. I would love to hear. May God bless each of you and your families!
