If you have ever felt like you are losing inspiration when it comes to crafts and in my situation, Bible journaling, then you have come to the right spot. Your mind is about to be blown and take any papercrafting projects to the next level. That’s all thanks to Cricut.
But before we dive into my journaling Bible, I want to answer one of the common questions other creatives have about the Cricut Explore Air 2.
What different kinds of DIY projects can I make with the Cricut?
The answer cannot be found in a short list or in just a few words. The possibilities are truly endless when it comes to the Cricut. If you can name it, then you can probably make it. Cards, Party Decor, Magnets, Jewelry, Wedding Decor, T-shirts, Fashion accessories, Planner accessories, Just about anything you can embellish with vinyl, etc. You see what I mean. The list is truly endless. I continue to learn each and every day of new ideas and projects that I can create.
But perhaps one of my most favorite ways to use my Cricut is for Bible Journaling. We all know I’m a huge fan, and this just makes it so simple to add embellishments to my Bible. You may recall these printables that I was actually able to cut out with my Cricut and use for an entry.
Not only am I able to cut out different shapes and objects, I was thrilled to take even those to the next level. Who knew that was possible? Well it sure is with the Cricut Cuttlebug. Plus it comes in mint which matches my Explore Air 2 perfectly. You can check out an unboxing video here that shows exactly what is included.
The Cricut Cuttlebug is an embossing and die cutting machine that works with a large variety of materials. You can find a huge selection of embossing folders and cutting dies to choose from. Today I’m using my Cuttlebug and this “Cross My Heart” embossing folder to add an extra touch of flair to my journaling entry.
To begin this entry, you could cut certain shapes out using your Cricut Explore. Then take the embossing folders and the Cuttlebug to add that extra embellishment. To show you exactly how my entry came together with the basics of how to use the Cuttlebug as well, check out this video below that explains it all.
I’m thrilled with that extra pop of hearts on my Cricut cardstock to really stand out. I may have just found a new addiction.
Now if all this Cricut and Cuttlebug wasn’t enough, you can also store all your tools and Cricut pens in this lovely accessory pouch to keep you organized. Fold over the top once it’s unzipped, and it even stands making it easier to pull out tools when you need them. And again it matches my machine. I’m loving this, and I know you are going to too.
Now I hope you have enjoyed all this crafting goodness. There is a lot of it in this post so if you have any questions at all, please feel free to leave them in the comments below. And as always, Happy Crafting!
