My favorite season and the next couple of months are my absolute favorite of the year. I just can’t seem to get enough that I’m always trying to fit in all the fun things. How easy is it though to become so busy that we forget to slow down and just enjoy those moments and really own them? That’s why I love to be reminded to focus on Thankfulness in November with Grace and Gratitude.
We worked through 100 Days of Bible Promises earlier this year, and it was amazing. You can imagine my excitement when I found out that Shanna Noel had done it again and created a second 100 Days book with this 100 Days of Grace and Gratitude devotional journal.
What’s even better is that this month’s devotional kit, Grace and Gratitude, from Illustrated Faith has been designed to correlate perfectly together. You can either journal in your Bible each day with the prompts from the kit or use the supplies to journal in the new devotional book. No matter how you choose to work through them, I hope you find your eyes are opened and enlightened to all the goodness of God.
Now let’s have a little hot apple cider date together. Grab your favorite cup and cozy in to watch an unboxing of the entire kit. Hint hint: You are going to love the Thankful prompt cards that are included on a key ring. Plus keep reading after the video for my tips on how to stay in the Word and journal every single day.

- 1 4×6 clear stamp

Tips for Finding Time to Bible Journal
1. Keep it simple.
Stick to the basics. Don’t feel like you have to pull out all the supplies and paints every single time you want to work in your Bible. Use the supplies that come in this kit and stick with those. Add a few extra things if you want like more stickers or washi tape, but don’t overwhelm yourself.
2. Plan the same time every day and commit.
Set aside a time every day to spend in your Bible. I know life happens, and you may have to rearrange things sometimes. That’s ok. Just make sure you don’t skip it all together. If you make it a priority, then you are more than likely to accomplish your goals.
3. Have fun.
Don’t let the idea of starting a 100 Days of Grace and Gratitude Challenge scare you. Enjoy it and have fun. God will meet you there and bless your heart in ways you could never imagine. Plus make sure you give yourself some grace as well if you do miss a day. That’s okay too. Don’t try to be perfect after all. That’s not what this is about anyways.
Let me know what your plans are for getting started with Gratitude Documented on November 1st. I can’t wait to hear and get more ideas. Keep an eye out soon where I will be showing my plans and how I’m working through this next kit with the book too.
