Welcome to 12 Days of Christmas where I am kicking off this fun series with a different style holiday wreath. I actually got the inspiration when me and my husband Mark were out shopping this past weekend. Check out my post if you are needing inspiration for your own DIY projects. Shopping is included on the list and is one of my favorites. One of my favorite stores to go in is Target. I have always had a fond love for them and love looking at all the Christmas decorations. I was just walking through when I stumbled upon this gorgeous three tier grapevine wreath. Most wreaths are usually just one large size, but I loved how this one has a different look and would be perfect in a spot where you need something longer and not necessarily just round.
I love using grapevine wreaths because they are so inexpensive. I found the miniature grapevine wreaths at Michaels for only $0.99. I recently used them in my Thanksgiving tablescape as birds nest. Because I knew that they were inexpensive, I couldnโt help but think how I could make one so much cheaper than what Target wanted even though I do love them dearly.
Their trio wreath was priced at $25.
I was shocked so I got to crafting! Mine only cost approximately $7.00!!!
Supplies:
Hot glue gun and glue sticks-optional
Fabric adhesive– optional
First string your berry strands around the grapevine wreath placing it as you like. Do the same for the following two wreaths.
Measure how much ribbon you will need by looping it around the bottom of the top wreath and the top of the 2nd wreath and then tie in a knot or bow, whichever you prefer. If you want just a clean look with it wrapped around, then cut the ribbon and use a hot glue gun or fabric adhesive to glue it together.
Do the same for the middle and third wreath by measuring and tying your ribbon.
Lastly loop the burlap ribbon through the top wreath and measure how much you will need to hang it. Cut and then tie the ribbon.
All you need to do now is find the perfect place to hang your wreath and you are done!
Now how easy was that? You can do it no time hardly at all. There is no excuse because it is so simple. Maybe you have waited until the last minute and need some quick decorations then this trio wreath is ideal.
Enjoy your Christmas crafting and also enjoy the little things in life!
Hope to see you tomorrow for Day 2 of 12 Days of Christmas!
