Using Printables to Create a Devotional Flip Book

As we continue with the 2nd What’s True About You devotional kit from DaySpring, I’m showing how using printables to create a devotional flip book is a great way to stay organized and work through the kit.

Let’s start gathering all the goodness as we get ready to dive into the 2nd What’s True About You: God’s Friend Devotional kit. DaySpring partnered with Holley Gerth for this mini series and it has been incredible so far. Check out the unboxing video of this kit HERE if you missed it.

Using Printables to Create a Devotional Flip Book

With the devotional cards being designed in a landscape orientation, I decided last month to change things up from my usual traveler notebook style to this little flip book using an album ring. I grabbed lots of goodies from my stash, supplies from the kit, and even some new printables from my Etsy shop that I designed specifically to coordinate with this kit.

Check out the entire collection, My Best Friend, in my Esty shop to use for your journaling entries or hopefully a flip book too. Below is a sneak peek at one of the designs I used for making my flip book.

Putting this flip book together was so simple, quick, and easy. You are going to love it. Below I’m showing how easy it is and different supplies I pulled to work through this kit. Hope you enjoy and make a flip book too.

The great thing about this kit being the 2nd and last kit in this Holley Gerth series is that the colors may be different somewhat but the supplies still coordinate. That means you can use any leftover stickers, paper pieces, washi, etc. from last month with this kit too. If you didn’t get last month’s kit, no worries.

I loved using the red felt flower from last month’s kit for the book cover. (I used the yellow felt flower on last month’s flip book.) For some inserts I used the clear cuts pad and paper pads from DaySpring and Illustrated Faith. Most of the pages are cut to the same size as the devotional cards.
