Maybe you even want to jazz up their lunchbox with a fun treat that is new and different but are all out of ideas. I truly have the perfect solution for you. Triple Layer Chocolate Parfait

Back to school time means the weekly grocery store trips to get everything you need to pack those lunches and make dinner. I was at Walmart this past weekend doing this very thing for the next week ahead and happen to run upon some of my favorite breakfast go-to items.

Quaker Chewy Dipps granola bars have always been one of my favorite things to eat for breakfast. It is one of those things that you can just pick up on the way out the door when time is running short and still feel good because you ate breakfast.

Now for the kids, cereal is always a favorite. But my husband and I must still just be big kids because we enjoy a bowl of cereal just like the next one. Mark has always loved Cap’N Crunch Peanut Butter. He basically loves anything with peanut butter.

I also like getting the variety packs of Quaker instant oatmeal because it is one thing that I can take to work and make there when I’m busy at home and again can’t seem to find the time. (Please tell me I’m not the only one to keep hitting snooze for just 5 more minutes of sleep.)

Now that you have everything you need, let’s get started putting it all together. You will be done in no time.

Ingredients:

  • Chocolate pudding
  • Quaker Chewy Dipps Chocolate Chip granola bar cut into small pieces
  • Cap’N Crunch Peanut Butter cereal crushed into smaller pieces
  • Whipped cream

You will start layering the ingredients starting with the chocolate pudding on the bottom. Then add the granola bar pieces being sure to leave a few extra for the topping at the end.

Add whipped cream next and then top with a few granola bar pieces for a little extra cuteness.

Do the same with the cereal in place of the granola bar. You could also add both and use more layers if you like.

I placed mine in a small bowl with a lid that made it easy to place in a lunchbox.

For us adults that are just big kids and want to join in on the fun too, make yours in a pretty glass like a wine glass or anything else you have.
