Setting-Up and Organizing Illustrated Faith's The One Anothers Card Set

Today I’m setting-up and organizing Illustrated Faith’s The One Anothers Card Set written and designed by BraveLittleTaylor. I’m sharing different ideas for working through the card set as well as showing supplies I pulled and how I’m organizing them.

Thank you to Illustrated Faith for sponsoring this post. All opinions are mine alone. I pinky promise. Some of the above links are affiliate-linked and purchasing through these links helps support Southern Couture in future projects! It does NOT increase the price for you so that’s cool. Thanks so much for your support!

UPDATE: Keep reading below to see the new video with an updated plan for working through the One Anothers card set using new printables in my Etsy shop as well as the coordinating TN from Illustrated Faith.

If you have been around here for any length of time, you know that I just adore the card set Bible studies from Illustrated Faith’s Print & Pray Shop. Taylor from BraveLittleTaylor on Instagram shares a wealth of knowledge with her studies and has you looking at scripture in a whole new way.

Most recently I worked through her Lent set, “The Wilderness Way,” if you remember it earlier this year. This next set, “The One Anothers,” is all about learning not just that Jesus has called his disciples to love one another but exactly how we are to fulfill that. You will be amazed how much the phrase “one another” is found in scripture which means it is important.

You can grab the printable download of the card set HERE as well as several other downloads including patterned paper and ephemera that coordinate. Make sure to also check out the physical product add-ons that Illustrated Faith has to use if you choose. They aren’t necessary but sure make it a whole lot more fun.

In the video below I’m sharing how I plan to work through the card set and giving you several different ideas whether it be in a journaling Bible, TN, or with the memorydex system which I explain below. I also pull supplies I’m using and show you how to keep them organized to make a study like this more simple each day.

UPDATE: Below is the update video showing some of the new printables in my Etsy shop to coordinate with this card set as well as the coordinating TN from Illustrated Faith to use for scripture writing.

I also released a new collection, “One Another,” in my Etsy shop after requests to have coordinating printables. I am super excited about the brand new gingham collections and the large fruit shapes that are great for memory cards.

If you have been around the Bible journaling community lately, you may have noticed the Heidi Swapp MemoryDex kit from American Crafts has been quite popular for journaling cards. I thought it would be fun to jump on the train and start with my first memorydex using this card set. I went ahead and set up cards for each day and cut out the ephemera pieces to make each day simpler.

Because each card has several scripture references, it’s important for me to really dig into the scripture and make notes there too. I’m using my in(courage) Devotional Bible to make little notes and mini Bible journaling entries.

Now I want all my cards and supplies in one place so I can journal whenever I like. I pulled this keepsake box that came with my Studio 71 premium planner and am using the bottom of it to hold and organize the cards, memorydex, washi tape, alpha stickers, and more.

I so hope you will follow along and join this journey that is all about community and being that “one another” to someone else who really needs to see and feel God’s love through you. Let me know in the comments below if you will be joining in. God bless!

I love your set up! I found a little basket in my “junk stash” LOL that I’m planning to store my cards in. I figure that if I want to use the basket again down the road, I can make a ring book out of my cards. I’ll keep that in mind as I’m working on my cards so I can leave a spot to punch without messing up the decorative part. I also want to do Bible entries and never thought about printing mini versions of the cards. Perfect! So I’ll be doing that as well.
I love seeing your posts on Instagram and now I’ll be visiting your blog!

Thank you so much! I love when stuff like that happens and you find a true gem in your own stash. I love making ring books out of the cards too. I have done that before. SO glad you like the idea of the mini cards. I think anything miniature is so adorable. Thanks for visiting and so glad to have you here and all your support.

Would you please share where you found the adorable little black & white stripe memorydex BOX? I’ve searched Amazon and can’t find it. ☹

I actually found mine at Joann online. I used their coupons and got it on sale and free shipping. They can be hard to find, but some people have found them in stores on clearance. Hope that helps.

I love the gingham washi tape – I have already used it for an entry. Thanks for all of your printables!

Hey there! This exact one is from Joann. It’s Heidi Swapp brand. I found it online. Some people find them in stores but sometimes hard to find.
