My Most Favorite Bible Journaling Entry Ever

This has to be my most favorite Bible journaling entry ever and one that I have been planning for several years. My heart is so full of gratitude today to be able to finally bring it to life and share it with y’all too.

I’ve tried many different techniques in my journaling Bible before and used all sorts of different devotionals and Bible studies. I enjoyed all of them, but this entry is simply my most favorite Bible journaling entry ever. And that is for one simple reason…OUR BABY BOY! (You can check out more about my pregnancy and how we found out HERE if you are interested.)

My Most Favorite Bible Journaling Entry Ever

Our journey to having our son was exactly an easy one. SO to be able to complete an entry in gratitude to our Lord for blessing us with this precious gift is more than words can really explain if I’m honest. I kept this entry simple and wanted it to really focus on the beauty of our newborn child. My scripture focus for this entry is from 1 Samuel 1: 27, “For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition that I made to him.

I love my Instax camera and took it to the hospital with me so we could capture some of the precious new moments of his life. I also love how I can use the photos in my Bible, planner, or anywhere else. And who doesn’t love the instant photo and nostalgia of that? I added it to the top of the page with some ephemera pieces that were all in a little boy theme. I attached it to the page using a paper clip in case I ever wanted to remove it.

I continued layering the different pieces until I was happy with the whole layout. I wanted to also be sure to document his birth date, height and weight. I’m also loving those little baby footprints that I had in an old stamp set. I just love this page from the little bicycle to the scooter and even the little red wagon.

Don’t forget that putting together an entry doesn’t have to be complicated or take a lot of time. You can just add a few different pieces and you have a gorgeous entry. Thanks for celebrating with us and our Baby Boy. All of yall’s kind words have meant so much to us. God bless!
