Tired of shaving your legs only to find several hours later that a red irritated rash has shown up and you are wearing your favorite dress and now everyone else can see the razor burn too? I am happy to say that my old razor will have to find a new home because I am kicking it out and switching immediately. A lot of times I will have razor burn within a few hours or at least the next day. My underarms will be itching tremendously leaving me clawing like a mad man. I had none of that this time. My armpits (or armpots is what I called them as a child) have yet to be itchy or irritated. My legs are smooth and do not have one bump whatsoever. I have learnt that #ItsNotMe, it was my old razor’s fault.

#1: This razor has 5 blades

What did we ever do before with disposable razors that only had 2 or 3 blades? I can’t imagine going back now. The 5 blades make a huge difference in how long it takes me to shave as well. I can remember in the past having to run the razor over my legs numerous times in order to get a smooth shave that my legs became even more irritated with razor burn. Who knew a couple more blades would make such a big difference? I didn’t but now I do.

#2: A protective ribbon of moisture with a touch of aloe

I noticed this light blue ribbon around the 5 blades and couldn’t wait to see what it would do too. As I shaved and the moisture ribbon became moist, I could feel the slickness of it and saw it almost like a lotion on my legs as I shaved. They felt smooth and moisturized even before putting any lotion on after I was finished. I was also very happy that it contained aloe especially after the summer and being in the sun some. I was recently at the beach about 2 weeks ago and my legs have now started peeling and seem to be very dry from all the sun. After shaving, my legs have felt much better and no longer dried out. I was starting to look like a snake even with lotion but not anymore.

#3: The handle for the razor fits any blade

You think you have sensitive skin and so you decide to start using the Embrace Sensitive but notice that after a short time maybe it isn’t your skin (#ItsNotMe) that’s so sensitive but that your previous razor was the problem. Well if you decide to change to one of the other amazing Gillette Venus razors, don’t worry about having to throw away the handle for this one and buying a whole new set. Just buy the refills in the specific razor you want, and it will still fit the same handle. How convenient!

#4: In-shower razor holder

I have been notorious for getting into the shower and forgetting my razor behind still in the bathroom drawer. I then have to get out of the shower and tip toe over to the cabinets to find it and then get back in the shower while trying not to slip on the water that has just dripped all in the floor. The razor comes with a holder that has a suction cup where you can hang it anywhere you would like in your shower and avoid having the same problem I do.

I do want to say though that I do not usually like putting my razor in the shower, especially if it is sitting on the built-in shower bench or hanging basket where water will constantly hit it, or it will constantly be sitting in water. A razor will not last as long when it’s wet and will eventually start to rust. Keeping your razor dry will prolong its life tremendously. The good thing about this holder though is that it has a suction cup to allow you to hang it wherever you would like. I can now hang my razor in the shower for easy access but also be sure it is hanging in a place safe and free from constant moisture.

#5: A coupon for razor refills
