Your guests will love this touchdown party dip perfect for game day parties to snack on the entire game whenever a craving hits.

We all know the big game of football is coming soon so why not start preparing now and getting your party gear ready to go. And if you are a procrastinator, then no worries. The recipe and fun foodie DIY I have to show you today is going to be perfect to keep you out of the kitchen and spending more time watching the game with family and friends.

The key to a great party and entertaining are buying foods that are pretty much already prepared and just adding your own special twist to them. This way you can enjoy your friends and the game as much as possible without being stuck in the kitchen. Tyson® products are my personal go-to whenever I am needing party and game day foods for this exact reason.

[AD] Touchdown Party Dip Per fect for Game Day

Go on and head over to Sam’s Club where you can find both Tyson® Boneless Wyngz (3 lbs) Buffalo and State Fair® Mini Corn Dogs (65 cnt). You simply cannot beat the value Sam’s Club offers. Pick up a few of each and now you are ready to whip up this quick and easy Touchdown Party Dip perfect for any game day or party occasion. It pairs perfectly with both of these.

[AD] Touchdown Party Dip Per fect for Game Day

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 ½ tablespoons Ketchup
  • 1 tsp sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon Sweet relish
  • 1 Garlic clove, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Mustard, for decoration

Mix all the above ingredients together except the mustard in a bowl and serve along with the Tyson® Boneless Wyngz (3 lbs) Buffalo and State Fair® Mini Corn Dogs.

[AD] Touchdown Party Dip Per fect for Game Day

For a little something extra fun, use a toothpick to dip in some mustard and draw on the corn dog the stitching similar to a football. These “mini footballs” will be adorable with this whole serving set-up.

[AD] Touchdown Party Dip Per fect for Game Day

Because the mini corn dogs have now become “mini footballs”, we have to set up a field goal. Using yellow pipe cleaners, bend them into the shape of the posts used for field goals. I took 2 pipe cleaners and just twisted them together to make it thicker and sturdier.

I placed the food on a plate on the table with the touchdown party dip sitting above the food platter using a plain white box. You could also use a cake stand. I attached the field goal posts to the white box in front of the dip using clear tape. I placed green scrapbook paper under the dip for the grass of the field.

Now when guests go to dip their food, the “mini footballs” we decorated earlier with the mustard will be perfect, and the scoring field goal to please all their appetites the entire game. I just love this whole set up and how easy it was to prepare the food and set everything up. Now I don’t have to worry about being in the kitchen and missing any of the big game. My husband will be pleased with the food which is another win!

[AD] Touchdown Party Dip Per fect for Game Day

Hurry to Sam’s Club now where the value can’t be beat and your guests are sure to be pleased. I am absolutely in love with the field goal posts I made so easily and the whole set-up. Let me know in the comments below if you have any game day food or tablescape ideas. I would love any new suggestions. Plus head over to claim this Ibotta offer for an extra savings before shopping.

Your guests will love this touchdown party dip perfect for game day parties to snack on the entire game whenever a craving hits.

We all live such busy lives from housekeeping to kiddos to working jobs, that we sometimes just find it easier to run through the drive-thru or heat up a frozen pizza. Homemade Restaurant Style Salsa Recipe

Grab yourself a bowl and bag of tortilla chips and prepare to enjoy this homemade restaurant style salsa recipe that is sure to please.

Homemade Restaurant Style Salsa Recipe

There is one thing I love and that is fresh tomatoes every summer right out of the garden. Besides the fact that they are simply delicious, you have this sense of pride knowing that you grew them and knowing exactly where they came from.

Now my Dad can basically eat a fresh, garden tomato like an apple. That’s how much he loves them. Me, not so much? (Imagine if Snow White had eat a tomato instead of an apple. Pretty weird huh? Sorry, just a side note and how my mind works.) My all-time favorite way to use tomatoes when cooking is with salsa.

When it’s made homemade, there is just something different about it. I could eat bowls full at a time when I make it. Give me some tortilla chips and soft shell tortillas and I am good to go. (Homemade tortillas are really delicious, but if you just want to pick some up in the store then you should definitely go with the restaurant or cantina style. The best!!)

Homemade Restaurant Style Salsa Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 Large tomatoes, diced with excess juice drained- You can use 6 roma tomatoes if you don’t have a garden.
  • ½ large onion, diced
  • 1 jalapeno, diced
  • 1-8 oz can tomato sauce
  • ¼ cup cilantro, finely chopped- I love cilantro, so if it’s not your thing be sure to lessen this amount or cut it out completely.
  • 1 Tablespoon Lime Juice
  • Salt, to taste

Combine ingredients in a large bowl until well combined. Serve with tortilla chips or soft tortilla shells. And now just enjoy!

Homemade Restaurant Style Salsa Recipe

The more I make this, the more I know exactly how much I want of each ingredient and can start adding more or less for my preference. Feel free to adjust the amount of cilantro or lime you prefer. My husband does not really care for cilantro so I usually cut it back some.

Homemade Restaurant Style Salsa Recipe

If you are making this for a large dinner or party, feel free to double the recipe and make it ahead of time to make it even easier. Just be warned…It’s addictive! Don’t blame me.

Let me just add to that this homemade restaurant style salsa recipe would be the perfect topping for my blackened tilapia tacos with avocado cream sauce recipe. They are just as delicious!

Well now that Halloween has passed, the weeks are going to just start flying by with the holidays being here before we even know it. That means lots of Christmas parties, shopping, gift wrapping, baking, cooking, and anything else you can probably think of.

That’s why it’s important to have dinner ideas and meals on hand to feed your family even during the most hectic times. Don’t always run for takeout when your family can have a wholesome, feel-good meal at home.

You will be happy knowing too that you have tackled the day and just added dinner to that same list. When I’m looking for easy dinner solutions, I don’t always think to go straight for the frozen pizza and neither should you.

Farm Rich has a variety of meal solutions that I just love to have on hand. One of my favorites is the Buffalo Style Boneless Chicken Bites. This is also a great game day food that is simple to prepare as well.

Roasted Buffalo Wings with Sweet N' Spicy Dry Rub

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #GameTimeClean #CollectiveBias

Fall means football which means tailgating!

Whether you are tailgating before the game, or “homegating” as I like to call it, delicious food is a must. You just can’t watch football without food. They are basically the same word.

Football + Food = Buffalo Wings

Buffalo wings are one of my most favorite foods to eat especially during football season which you can probably already tell from just the first few sentences of this post. Did I mention I love wings?

Roasted Buffalo Wings with Sweet N' Spicy Dry Rub

Okay but seriously, I have a delicious recipe to share with y’all today for roasted chicken wings. You can place them in the oven and basically just set a timer and forget about them until they’re done.

They are still crispy, but you don’t have to stand over hot oil the whole time flipping and watching them.

Plus if you are trying to be more health conscious, roasting the wings keeps you from using all that oil and frying them.

Now wings may be delicious, but they are equally just as messy! When me and Mark are eating buffalo wings, we have to have a paper towel that we know will work good and last.

Roasted Buffalo Wings with Sweet N' Spicy Dry Rub

That is why we depend on Viva® Vantage® paper towels to do the job. Make sure to stop by Walmart and stock up before your big game next weekend.

Roasted Buffalo Wings with Sweet N' Spicy Dry Rub

Let’s get those wings cooking…

Ingredients:

  • Chicken wings
  • Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tbsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp Cumin
  • 1/4 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tbsp Black Pepper
  • 1/4 tbsp Salt
  • Ranch or Blue Cheese Dressing
  • Hot sauce
  • Celery sticks

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with spray oil.

Coat the chicken wings in olive oil evenly by using a brush.

Whisk the brown sugar, paprika, cayenne pepper, cumin, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt together in a bowl.

Cover the chicken wings in the spice mixture.

Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes turning half way through.

Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing and celery sticks.

For a buffalo style sauce, combine ranch dressing and hot sauce together in a bowl.

Roasted Buffalo Wings with Sweet N' Spicy Dry Rub

Now you just need to enjoy some good eatin’.

Roasted Buffalo Wings with Sweet N' Spicy Dry Rub

While you are enjoying your wings, be sure to keep Viva® Vantage® paper towels nearby to wipe your hands. We all know how messy wings can be which is why Viva® Vantage® is perfect to use.

Roasted Buffalo Wings with Sweet N' Spicy Dry Rub

I am loving these wings while I watch football. You can tell a few others would like to steal a wing right out of my hand.

Roasted Buffalo Wings with Sweet N' Spicy Dry Rub

They are soft like cloth but also strong so they clean those fingers right up, unless you prefer lickin’ your fingers.

After your belly is full, there is always the clean-up part that we usually dread having to even deal with. But I have good news today! Viva® Vantage® towels are stretchy and strong making clean-up a breeze. They don’t even rip or tear even when they’re wet.

Roasted Buffalo Wings with Sweet N' Spicy Dry Rub

I know that makes my life much easier which gives me more time to get back to watching the game.

Make sure to put chicken wings and Viva® Vantage® towels on your grocery list now so this weekend tailgating will be even more delicious.

Mini-Pimento-Cheese-Balls-with-Crackers-Featured-Image

The countdown to the biggest game of the year is officially here… THE SUPERBOWL!!! I am so excited and can’t wait to watch it even though I don’t really have a team I’m pulling for. It’s still a lot of fun to get in on the excitement. If you aren’t a football fan, then you always have the most entertaining commercials of the year to look forward to. The Doritos commercials are always so hilarious with that mischevious dog.

A cheese ball has just hit the adorable level by becoming miniature. Now everyone at your next party will have their own personal for ease of dipping. Come get the full recipe at thesoutherncouture.com.

Besides all this fun stuff I’ve already mentioned, the Super Bowl just isn’t the same without all that delicious party food. I love having wings, pizza, different dips, appetizers, and more to snack on throughout the game.

Last week I shared a BLT cream cheese dip that would be perfect. This week I have something else that is just as delicious and also involves cheese. I can’t help it. I really do love cheese.

These mini pimento cheese balls with crackers are a tasty treat to enjoy throughout the game. I love how they are individual sizes making it easier to serve them. Now everyone can have their own and snack on it as they please without having to go back for more.

Mini-Pimento-Cheese-Balls-with-Crackers-1

I must give credit though to my cousin for this delicious recipe. She is always gracious and willing to make it for any party and has allowed me to share it with all of you. It is always a huge hit!

Ingredients:
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • Pimento cheese- I do not remember the exact measurement, but it was the smaller tub. Usually there are only 2 different sizes.
  • Zesty Italian dressing dry mix packet- You can also make your own zesty Italian dressing mix I found here.
  • Pecans
  • Crackers

Using a hand mixer, combine the cream cheese, pimento cheese, and zesty Italian dressing packet. You do not want to mix it for too long because it will become mushy and too wet. There should still be come chunks of the pimento cheese.

Crush the pecans into small pieces and then place in a small bowl to help you with rolling the cheese balls.

Scoop a spoonful of the cheese mixture into the pecans and roll around until completely covered.

*At first it may seem messy and hard to roll the cheese balls. Do not try to roll them out by hand or you will have a nasty mess. Once it is covered with the pecans, you can easily shape it into a ball without it sticking to your hands.

Continue rolling the cheese balls in the pecans and place on a serving dish with crackers.

The number of cheese ball this recipe will yield really depends on the size of your cheese balls too. Mine will usually make about 24 miniature cheese balls.

I am allergic to pecans and cannot enjoy the cheese balls at most parties because of this. The great thing about this cheese mixture is that it is just as delicious as a spread on crackers, toast, or even as a sandwich.

Mini-Pimento-Cheese-Balls-with-Crackers-2

I hope you enjoy these cute little mini cheese balls while cheering your team on and enjoying the little things in life.
