Happy New Year!! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and now a fresh start with a new year in 2021. To kick things off this year with my Bible study, I am working through the January kit, Mess to Message, from Illustrated Faith. I recently shared an unboxing video as well as supplies I pulled and how I’m keeping them organized. Today I can’t wait to share ideas for using the supplies in the kit with watercolors, acrylic paints, printables, and more.

I am obsessed with the message cards that are included in the kit. It’s so fun to find different ways to layer color and “mess” behind the stencil.

I thought I would share a round-up of 2020 Advent Bible journaling entries now so you can hopefully have some inspiration and encouragement to keep working through your own study. 

This year Advent has been such a blessing for me not only for my creative side but also for some “me time” since having a newborn and toddler this year that keep me so busy. My hymnal flip book and Advent designated Illustrating Bible are probably my favorites so far. I wanted to share my entries thus far so you can still have some inspiration and ideas for your own study.

I want everyone to feel encouraged to jump into Advent this season so I am sharing several Advent study and journaling ideas to give everyone an option for their preference. 

In case you didn’t know, I absolutely love Christmas and this whole season. Being able to study during Advent is such an incredible time. Whether you have studied through Advent for many years or this is your first, I sure hope you will join in. Today I have multiple ideas for you to get your journals, flip albums, etc. set-up and ready to go.

I also have loved doing the card sets from Taylor of Illustrated Faith. She has a new set this year and multiple ones available from years past. I loved using this mini notebook to keep them organized for each day. 

I also loved working through the devotional from Illustrated Faith’s devotional kit last year and having it set up ahead of time. Go through your stash and find goodies from before and use them. I love finding those little treasures in my craft supplies.
