Summer means it is time for camp but not just any camp. I can’t wait to show you how I’m setting up a travelers journal for Revival Camp this year.ย
What an exciting time camp is when you are a child. There is so much excitement of spending a week or summer with your friends playing games, eating s’mores, staying up late. Well you can still enjoy camp even when you are all grown up which is what makes Revival Camp so exciting. If you missed my post showing an unboxing video of exactly what Revival Camp is, then make sure to check it out HERE.
Because Revival Camp will be running for the next three months, I wanted one place to keep all my devotionals and entries. That is where the travelers journal comes into play. I hope to still do some entries in my journaling Bible but can’t wait to play around with this set-up too.
Below is a flip-through video of my travelers journal and how I plan to use it for the next few months. I’m also showing some of the supplies I’m using.
Small sections were designated for each devotional with plenty of space to journal. I placed the devotionals from the kit on one side of the page and then added die-cuts and stickers to the opposite side.
Plus I just love the whole concept of badges and being able to “earn” one with each devotional. I wanted to keep that theme of badges throughout the journal and with Bible entries. I used the badges that were included in the bonus printable from Dayspring when you purchase the kit to tab my pages.
For the prayer devotional, I used the trail mix bag from the kit as a pocket to hold small prayers during camp.
I would love to know how y’all are planning to work through Revival Camp. Please let me know any ideas in the comments below. I can’t wait to be back very soon sharing some of my own entries for this first month of camp.
And if you still haven’t grabbed your kit, then make sure to get it now!!
