The Illustrating Bible just keeps getting better and better. I’m beyond thrilled to announce that DaySpring now has the next set of books of the Illustrating Bible in their own scripture journal. The Book of Luke was absolutely amazing for my Advent studies. So of course I couldn’t wait to tell y’all about this next book with Psalms and Proverbs. This new edition will be available February 3rd so stay tuned!!

Make sure you also come back here on Monday, February 3rd because I’ll be sharing tips and ideas for setting up a new Bible and getting started. I’ll even break open mine for the first time with an entry just for y’all! Plus I’m sharing my plans and ideas for using this new Bible.
Okay so let’s get to the fun part and flip-through this beautiful Bible. Check out the video below where I’m sharing all the details and comparing it to the Book of Luke and original Illustrating Bible.
Isn’t that coral cover just amazing?! It has this slight shimmer to it that I can’t get enough of.
The inside cover has a gray suede that is simple and elegant.
DaySpring is continuing with this Bible being in the NIV version the same as the Book of Luke edition.
The margins are still super wide at 3 3/4″ with pages that are 75% thicker than traditional Bible pages.
Below you can see the comparison of the width and size of this edition in comparison to the Book of Luke and Illustrating Bible.
Keep in mind below that the Book of Luke shown in the middle is appearing a bit thicker because of the entries I have already done in it.
Another great feature that I love about this Book of Psalms and Proverbs is that it is perfect for even someone who isn’t into creative and art journaling but would rather just take notes. I love the margin space to write down prayers, word studies, notes from commentaries, etc.
DaySpring is also giving a free bonus digital download with handlettering, Bible reading plans, etc. for either Psalms or Proverbs. You then will have the option to purchase the other book’s downloads too.
Now stay tuned for Monday, February 3rd when this new edition is officially available from DaySpring. I’ll be sharing a new video with that process entry and tips and ideas for y’all too. Leave any questions in the comments below and I’ll get to them as soon as I can. God bless!

You mentioned that you used a commentary for your Luke study.
I need a good one. Which one do you use?

Beautiful coral cover! Thank you for keeping us in the “know” 🙂 Your reviews always help and I wish they used your digital prints that coordinate as our free downloads!
