If you are looking for something simple but still delicious to take to a Christmas party, then look no further than this Ranch BLT Pasta Salad. I made this earlier in the year for a dish at Markโs 80s themed 30th birthday party because apparently pasta salad was very popular in the 80s. I also made it for a Thanksgiving side dish and everyone loved it. People were asking for the recipe so here it is for everyone to enjoy.
The great thing about this pasta salad too is that you can change the vegetables and pretty much add anything you really love depending on you and your familyโs taste.
Ingredients:
- Box of Ranch Bacon Suddenly Pasta Salad mix includes pasta and seasoning powder packet- I use the mix but have changed the directions and added more stuff to enhance it. *Do not follow the box directions.
- ยผ cup mayonnaise
- ยผ cup ranch dressing
- 1 medium tomato
- Several green onions
- 1 green bell pepper
- Broccoli florets
- Sweet milk- optional
Bring a pot of water to a boil and boil your noodles until done.
While the water is boiling, prepare your vegetables. Dice the tomato into small chunks and the bell pepper into skinny strips. Chop up the green onion and broccoli florets if needed.
*Feel free to change the vegetables as you would like.
Mix the mayonnaise and ranch dressing with the seasoning powder packet that was included in the Suddenly Pasta Salad box.
Once the noodles are done boiling, drain the water in a strainer and rinse the noodles with cold water. Then combine them with the mayonnaise and ranch mixture until all the noodles are wet.
Then add the vegetables and combine well until the vegetables are also wet.
You can also add a little milk if needed to wet the pasta salad depending on how many vegetables you end up adding.
Now your pasta salad is complete! That was such a breeze to make and so simple. Plus you didnโt have to dirty up a bunch of dishes either.
This is a great dish that can also be made the night before a party or dinner. I made mine the night before Thanksgiving and just refrigerated it overnight and it was still so tasty. Add a little milk the next day before serving if you feel the pasta salad is a little dry after sitting all night.
We all need something to make our lives simpler with all the busyness. This recipe is one that I plan to use for years to come. The next time someone ask you at the last minute to make something for a party or dinner, you will have a go to recipe especially with Christmas soon arriving and most people having dinner parties.
Enjoy this wonderful Christmas season and gathering with family and friends.

Sounds like me. I know it isn’t good for me, but I think I could eat an entire box of Kraft macaroni and cheese.

yum I love a good pasta salad. I buy those suddenly salads occasionally in the store. They’re nice to have on hand for a different side dish or in-promptu picnic
