First I must start out by saying a huge Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads and also those who have always dreamed of being a Dad. You are each special in your own way and needed so much. A shout out to my Dad and Father-in-love on their special day. It has been a joy to celebrate with you today.
My features for this week in a way are to remember our Dads and how proud of us they would be for stretching a buck and making something simple and inexpensive look brilliant. (Hint hint: Ikea may be involved.)
But before we get to the features, you will not want to miss out on what these other wonderful women have been up to. Be sure to check out their blogs and follow along with them as well.

Ready to share what has been motivating you this past week? Link up a recent post of yours, something that motivates you to create or just be awesome! Our goal is for this link up to focus on craft, DIY, & home posts so please try to remember that when linking up.
- Limit it to three links per week and remember to link directly to your post, not your blog.
- Do not link stores, giveaways, or other link parties.
- Be sure to hop around some of the other posts that have been linked up to share the love and get motivated by what others have been up toโฆbecause of course, this is Motivational Monday after all.
Each week, your hosts will choose a few posts to feature from the previous week. If you want a chance at being featured, you must follow all of the hosts. By linking up, you agree to let each host share your photo and link back to your site. Link party goes live Sunday 6pm PST and ends Thursday at 5pm PST.
Feel free to grab a Motivational Monday button in the sidebar to put on your own blog if you want to help spread the love!
Kristi from Making it in the Mountains recently shared her little boy’s rustic bedroom makeover. Well she included this Ikea bookshelf hack by adding wood around the entire shelf. It makes it look so much more expensive and really gives such a rustic look.
Refashionably Late took old Ikea mirrors and turned them into rustic picture frames using scrapbook paper. I love the scrapbook paper she chose and the fact that she was able to repurpose something old. These are my favorite kinds of projects.
Now hop over to the other co-host’s blogs and see what caught their eye this week. You just might be featured there too!
Donโt forget to grab this button if youโve been featured. Copy the HTML in the box below to display the button.
Now itโs your turn to join in on the fun and link up your recent craft, DIY, or home posts. If you are enjoying it as much as we are, then feel free to also share this party on your social media. We sure do appreciate it.
Donโt forget to enjoy the little things in life! Also please share this party with your friends as well so we can see what they have been up to. They will also love all the creativity being shared here as well.
