December 1st will be here in no time. Can you even believe it?! I can’t, but I’m so excited for it. December 1st also means a season of Advent to study each day leading up to Christmas Day. Well I’ve got lots of different books, resources, devotionals, printables, and more to help you this year. I shared a fun way to use printables in the Book of Luke Illustrating Bible last week. Click HERE if you missed it and want to see more.
Check out the video below as I walk through lots of choices and options depending on your style and preference. What’s even better is that there is something truly for everyone?
Advent: The Story of Christmas is a beautiful daily reading that walks you through the entire Bible. I love that and seeing how all scripture ties back together to Jesus Christ.
The Wonder of Christmas: 25 Days of Advent Journaling for Girls is by the one and only Shanna Noel. The style is very similar to her other 100 Days books but come with extra bonus challenges and fun ways to take it one step further. Even though it says for girls, it truly is great for girls of all ages.
The ABC’s of Christmas: A 26 Day Devotion Book for Closer Intimacy with God is by my dear friend Hillary from CreativeFaithCo. I absolutely adore her heart and how she is always encouraging others. I grabbed her devotion last year and it is available again this year. Each day has a different theme for each letter of the alphabet. Plus it’s spiral bound to make it even easier to journal through. You can also grab it HERE on Amazon if you prefer.
I also designed some new printables to coordinate with Hillary’s devotion. The whole collection is ABC’s and can be found HERE. I love the colors she chose for her devotion and loved creating these printables.
I’m planning to work through some of these books with my family, but also want to do some personal study through my Book of Luke Illustrating Bible. I shared last week my ideas for reading a chapter each day and journaling with some fun printables too. You can get all the details HERE if you missed it.
The new Christmas printables that I’ll be using for the Book of Luke are called “Christmas with Luke”. You can find them in my Etsy shop HERE. They would also be great to use for any Christmas journaling. I also love the little Christmas countdown stickers. Below is a sneak peek at one of the sets.
Now let me know what your plans for Advent are in the comments below. I would love to hear your ideas and share them with others. Don’t forget to pick up any of the resources above and let me know if you have any questions. God bless!
