Today I have a simple but still adorable craft for you. And of course it is holiday themed. With St. Patrick’s Day, I didn’t want to do too many decorations and take it over the top but still at least decorate a little bit.
This St. Patrick’s Day Centerpiece cost me only $4! Yeah that’s right, just $4. And if you already have some of the supplies lying around the house then it won’t even cost you that much. Everything I got came from the Dollar Tree where I found some pretty awesome finds. Check out my Dollar Tree Haul that I shared earlier this week.
Supplies:
I found these white carnations dipped in green at the Dollar Tree as I mentioned before and only had to use one grouping for my centerpiece.
Using wire cutters, trim each stem at the bottom to separate the grouping. Continue to trim any extra at the bottom for the correct height you want if needed.
Once they are all trimmed arrange them the way you like and place them in the center of the pot.
While still holding the flowers in one hand, place the river rocks into the pot around the flowers until close to the top. The stones will help to keep the flowers from falling over and keeping the arrangement you want.
Then place the plastic gold coins on the top of the stones to completely cover them. Using the stones keeps you from having to buy multiple packs of coins to fill the pot. Plus the coins wouldn’t even be seen then and would be a waste.
Place your centerpiece on a kitchen table, coffee table, or wherever you find best. Now that’s all there was to it.
Decorating for a holiday doesn’t have to be expensive or extravagant. A $4 centerpiece is still adorable and totally doable.
Enjoy this simple craft and being able to celebrate a holiday! Don’t forget to wear green too!

Wow this is so cute & incredibly affordable! My sister’s favorite color is green and we practically live in Dollar Tree so we might just have to give this a try. Thanks 🙂
Bethany says
That would be awesome. She could keep using if she wanted even past St. Patrick’s Day if she loves green so much.

I use fake flowers for all holiday decor! They are so cheap and looks so nice 🙂

They really do. Plus they are so much cheaper at dollar stores than going to craft stores.
