Before we know it December will be here which means it’s time to start thinking about Advent and preparing our hearts for this Christmas season. I can’t wait to share my plans with y’all today for how I’ll be studying using the Book of Luke Illustrating Bible and some new printables in my Etsy shop that I think y’all will love.
So first of all, the Book of Luke Illustrating Bible is perfect for an Advent study. With 24 chapters, it’s great to read one chapter a day leading up to Christmas day. I’m taking it back to my roots with just some good ol’ Bible reading. I plan to read a chapter each day and use highlighters and pens to make all sorts of notes directly on the pages. I’ll also be looking up commentary, word study, definitions, etc. as I go.
Now it just wouldn’t be the same without some Bible journaling and getting creative too. I’m hoping to do an entry in the Book of Luke each day to really journal what stands out to me that day. In order to help with a daily journaling project, I’ve designed some fun printables in my Etsy shop with bright colors, ornaments, bottlebrush tress, and more. The whole collection is Christmas with Luke. Grab yours HERE!
Now if you want to hear more about my heart behind this new collection and details of the entry I did for the first chapter, check out the video below.
I’m obsessed with this Christmas collection of printables in my Etsy shop for real. The bottlebrush trees are so fun in so many different colors. I love that there are patterned papers too so you can create just about anything you want to.
I would love to hear your plans for working through Advent this Christmas. Please let me know and share with everyone in the comments below. Also don’t forget to grab your Christmas with Luke printables as we prepare for December 1. God bless!

What commentary do you use? Thanks!

I have a Dake’s that my grandparents gave me many years ago. I also will check online for different commentaries that stand out.
