If you have enjoyed my “All About the Bible Journaling” series, please let me know in the comments below. I can’t believe it is almost over. I hope you have learned so much.ย The last time we talked in this series, I shared a simple hack for the not-so-artistic. Today I can’t wait to show you how adding a few little, extra embellishments will take your Bible journaling entries over the top.
When you have been journaling in your Bible for a while, it will become so full that it will be difficult to find certain pages. One way to really be able to reference a topic is to tab your entries. I use the TAB Punch to do so. You can also use diecut pieces, washi tape, and so much more to make your own tabs. I love the look of having the tab at the top.
When you think you need just a little something else, pull out your washi tape collection. And if you do not have one already, trust me when I say that it will not take you long at all to get one. Adding a little strip of washi to your entry here and there will add extra color and also a new dimension.
I always date my page knowing that one day I will look back on this page and understand how important this time was. I love being able to know exactly when I made the entry and what I was going through spiritually at that time.
I love using these stickers to really make a certain word or topic stand out on the page. Plus if you don’t feel like you have the best hand lettering skills, these will be a lifesaver to you. Plus it makes your entry pop instead of just using ink pens for all your writing.
Whether you use sticker books or make your own stickers using printables that you download and print on sticker paper, this makes journaling even easier. Stickers bring your page to life really and don’t require a lot of time to make an entry.
These embellishments should get you going with some basic ways to really add to your entries and make them stand out. Some of these are definitely must-haves for each entry of mine and have become an absolute necessity. Let me know if you have any questions in the comments below. I hope you enjoy and God bless!
